It wasn't hard conceptualizing a title fit for this girl.

In fact, even before I asked her the permission, I have already thought of the title I would like to give her feature (article).

Rockin' Rima summarizes my special interest why I chose this girl to be my first ever featured Tough and Lovely Lady this site's segment.

Aside from having known Rima during the times when gigs sold like hotcakes to us (sounds like groupie?...Nah!), Rima, now 25, has exposed herself to the underground scenes such as in music,  fashion and photography that commenced during her high school days and eventually grew in college and yet she has managed to grace the years with simple yet good career choices and life decisions she presently have now.

A BPO trainer, entrepreneur and make up artist, Rima enjoys juggling with all these activities along with her other interests such as Photography, song composition, and watching classic movies, to come up with no mainstream ideas for her business and personal hobby!

A writer during her college days, Rima confessed that she was only able to practice her course Journalism greatly as an intern as she has directed her energies to the no less than tough job in the BPO industry.

Aside from night shifts, rotations, accounts that need to be "loved" and understood, Rima faced the challenged of working in such a heavily routine-oriented environment in BPO as she successfully got the promotion of being a trainer, a leader for the company's new trainees.

Such that she was able to keep up with the energy and see the FUN side of her work as she slowly saves and invests for her business and hobby.

Ominous Clothing: Life and Death

Threatening, wayward, sub-fashion clothing that targets a specific market----the underground and rock communities.

Unlike many other fashion clothing shops, Ominous provides a punctuation to how fashion statement should end--- bold period.

Ominous clothing has no frills, no pathetic mushy-fashion sense, only plain hardcore fashion statement that rocks real.

It was once included on Rima's wishlist, Alas, together with her boyfriend, Rima is able to operate the online biz without too much hassle as she budgets her time for work, relaxation, side hobbies and this rewarding "raket."

From ballpens to make up brushes

Rima confessed that probably her inclination towards make up artistry started during those younger years when she makes fun of some characters from her textbooks, sketching them and sometimes, putting pen-ink make up on their faces while in class.  She mentioned that she never thought she'd get as interested in the said craft today as she was a little boyish during her younger years.

Today Rima has invested quality make up products from eye palettes to brush sets, make-up kit, lashes, nail crackers, colorful lipsticks and so much more. She practices by herself, and with her circle of friends--a resourceful way of improving a skill and sharing a hobby!

Through several exchange deals with models, photographers and the like, Rima is able to widen her circle, reaching more and more opportunities to mingle with her co-artists and maximize their potentials in their respective  craft. It is no wonder she is more confident now with her talents that she can share it with others more openly and frequently.

Tattoed Chic
Aside from other forms of art, Rima considers having a tattoo a good expression of one's self.
Exactly why I also thought of interviewing her. I noticed Rima has a rather peculiar way or different way of looking at things such as the ones that are definitely out of mainstream category. And yet, this girl is able to keep her simplicity and down-to-earth image, naturally, without intimidating others. (EXCEPT in some situations when she puts on that eyeliner and pull off a nice cat eye look on the crease. (Not to mention the presence of her tat! Now, would you dare mess with her?) :)

Rima particularly admires the American pop surrealist painter Marc Ryden, hence, she had Ryden's piece of art rest permanently on her skin. When asked why?  She answered with a question, "What do you see in my tatoo?" I told her I see the "child in you."

"Child in me and mystery" she added.

Tattoo, make up, alternative/sub-fashion clothing, Rima has still time to do other things such as, "reading books of Eros Atalia and watching classic movies." In fact the recent movie she watched was "The Shining."

It was a pleasure interviewing Rima and having known her for years.  Her perseverance in starting with basics--whether in business or in a hobby, has made her somebody that other people respect---her craft and her being ( especially those younger than her).

For this reason, Rima is a certified tough and lovely chic!  Congrats to you Rima and more blessings in life!
